The Rev. Rachel C. Thompson Orfield is a 2015 graduate of Duke Divinity School, where she fell in love with the Reformed tradition and discerned a call to ministry. After graduating from seminary, Rachel served for a year as a hospital chaplain, was ordained as a minister in the PC(USA), and spent four years as an associate pastor at Second Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, VA. Rachel and her husband Noah Thompson Orfield are both thrilled to join the Harpeth Presbyterian community.
Tucker and Mary
Mary and Tucker Biddlecombe lead music at all of our Worship Services. They both hold positions at Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music, where Tucker is Associate Professor and Director of Choral Activities, and Director of the Music Teacher Education Program, and Mary is Adjunct Artist Teacher of Chorus, and the Artistic Director of Blair Children's Choruses. Additionally they direct both the Adult and Children's Choirs as well as the Hand Bell Choir.
Jen is originally from South Dakota, but has lived in the Nashville area for over 20 years now. She attended Belmont University, loved being a teacher and an athletic director for years before deciding to stay at home to raise kids. Jen is married to Mike and they have four boys, ages 14, 12, 12, and 7. She loves sports, fitness, reading, time with friends, and volunteering at her kids's schools. Jen and her family are members of Christ Presbyterian Church.
